Small setback

Today we suffered a small setback in our road to Vienna.

We had the intention to hand in a proposition for a study agreement today. The four of us started off great, we filled in all the forms, got through them quite rapidly, but then... disaster struck!

We had been filling in the wrong forms... Of course this meant we had to start all over again, on a different website that is.

Finally, after filling in all the right forms, we had to choose the courses we wanted to follow in Vienna. This also was a harder task than previously anticipated.

For example, we didn't know how many ECTS-points we had to choose. Also we didn't really know which study we had to choose from, and so on...

And so, because of all these unfortunate mishaps, we couldn't hand in our propositions today; but as they say, tomorrow is another day!

Day 1 in my "road to Vienna"

Not actually day one, more like day 120 or so in my quest to find the perfect place to do my Erasmus in, but today we finally got the long awaited green light to go. All four of us!

At first they told us there were only 2 spots available. This meant 2 of us had to find another place to go to, which made me pretty sad, until I read these hopeful words:

"Ik probeer nog te zien of ze misschien bij Echo maar 1 kandidaat hebben en we zo een plaats meer kunnen krijgen."
Translation: "I'm going to see if ECHO maybe has a vacant spot"

That was yesterday.

Today the lovely M. 't Servranckx told us ECHO not only has 1, but 2 vacant spots. This means we can all go to Vienna, just like we hoped!
